Alternative Medicine
Vision
:
To build Indonesian Traditional or Alternative Medicine (ITAM) as a host in its
own country and a recpected guest in its neighbours.
Mission
:
To
develop and apply ITAM through programs:
- To find out by
survey and research and then application of safe and effective ITAM used by
people of the South Sumatera region. The focus onf research are plants for
cancer and metabolic diseases
- To run courses
for traditional health care practionners, especially with non academik
background.
- To deliver
ITAM for patiens in cooperation with teaching/ general hospital "Dr
Mohammad Hoesin" Palembang
- To carry out
pre-clinical and clinical trial for a well accepted ITAM before used as
general medicines.
- To establish
center of data information on ITAM or webnet in English.
- To utilize
efficiently and make conservation for medicinal plant
